Open joints between flue liners and fractures in flue liners create dangerous openings within the overall chimney system. Our main concern is that these openings can allow carbon monoxide and heat to escape the chimney, as well as for flammable creosote (by-products from wood combustion) to build-up between the outside of the flue lining and the inside of the chimney casing.

How Does FireGuard Work?
The FireGuard system is the only certified, ceramic resurfacing and mortar joint repair system employing a vibration unit. Now this is especially helpful for us, because it promotes maximum penetration of tight mortar joints and fractures, as well as a consistent coat distribution for resurfacing. Without pinpoint vibration units, the ceramics do not penetrate tight openings nor form a solid, consistent coating over surfaces, which could lead to issues in the long run.

Yes. Due to the specific customization process, all chimney products are only available to contractors.

Our team will thoroughly inspect and write a report onsite, identifying any problems and aspects of your chimney with a video camera (level 2) before issuing any estimates. The process takes about 1-2 hours.
The report includes pictures of your chimney identifying the issues and how to fix them, as well as diagrams and illustrations of the chimney’s composition so that you will get a better understanding of how they work and how they are constructed. For your awareness, this service is $162. We will then credit you back the $162 toward any work that is completed with our company.
