Chimney Scientist Team
Chimney Scientists started as a passion project driven by curiosity, science, and a commitment to fireplace safety. Since then, it has grown into a full‑service chimney and fireplace company serving southeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Founded in 2014, we’ve helped thousands of homes with chimney inspections, cleanings, repairs, and installations. Our guiding values of honesty, integrity, respect for customer and craft, and a refusal to cut corners shape every job we do.
We believe in treating chimneys not just as simple structures, but as engineered systems requiring precision, knowledge, and care. That’s why we approach every project with the mindset of scientists: we gather data, use high‑tech tools, and document every step.
If you’re looking for a workplace that blends hands‑on tradesmanship with scientific rigor, clear processes, and a supportive team environment, you might be a great fit for Chimney Scientists.
Why Work at Chimney Scientists
Working at Chimney Scientists means joining a team where trades meet science, and where your work helps keep homes safe and firesides warm. Here’s why you’ll love working here:
- Science‑driven approach to chimney care. We don’t guess what’s wrong. Instead, we inspect with video scopes, moisture meters, and other diagnostic tools. We treat each chimney like a system where air flow, draft, heat, and safety all matter.
- Comprehensive training and high standards. Every team member is chosen for trustworthiness, strong work ethic, and respect for clients. We emphasize continuous learning, clear documentation, and safety.
- Full‑service company backing. Unlike small shops or seasonal outfits, we offer a full range of chimney solutions: inspections, cleanings, structural repairs, relining, and fireplace and stove installations. That means steady work across seasons, variety in daily tasks, and exposure to many aspects of the trade.
- Professional culture and quality control. Every job is documented with photos, every process is reviewed, and quality control is built in. So it’s not just about completing jobs, it’s about doing them right. We take pride in clean work, clear communication, and treating clients’ homes with respect.
- Mission‑driven impact and community values. Our founding story is rooted in science, care, and service, and we bring that to each chimney we touch. Joining us means contributing to safer, healthier homes across our region.
