We thoroughly inspect and write a report onsite identifying any problems and aspects of your chimney with a video camera (level 2) before issuing any estimates. The process takes about 1-2 hours.
The report includes not only pictures of your chimney identifying the issues and how to fix them, it includes diagrams and illustrations of a chimney’s composition to get a better understanding of how they work and how they are constructed. Crown Rebuild:
On day 1, demolish and remove the top of the degraded chimney. Build a wooden form to pour concrete crown. Day 2 remove concrete crown and prep for the crown coat. 2-3 technicians onsite
Masonry Repair:
Remove concrete crown on the chimney, cut 2 new 9"x13" flue tiles and mortar in place to extend chimney, rebuild crown using RapidSet concrete, cover crown in a coating of a masonry waterproofing sealant, add 9"x13" stainless steel cap to one of the flues that were uncovered.
Crown Coat Repair:
An elastomeric coating forms a flexible, waterproof membrane specifically formulated to repair and protect chimney crowns from water intrusion. This coating acts as a thick rubber cement block, preventing any water intrusion and cracks from forming. Maintains a 15-year warranty
